My Picks From side a of bibo worldwide
Shaina
I vibed with this song immediately! One of those that just makes you feel good, and brightens up your day. Really makes you “shaina kunge zuva.”
Dzemabwe
Ok, so this is the first track on the album, and as soon as I heard it I knew that this album was a labour of love, straight from the heart. Listen to it I am taken back to my childhood home, playing pada with my cousins and envying my sister who knew how to play nhodo while I can no idea! Love this track!
Hlanganani
If you have a good speaker/a good set of headphones, then like me, you’ll fall in love with the bass on this one
Kure Kure
Man, this one’s just a jam… and a love story, and also the broken love story of so many Zimbabweans who left to go seek a better life in the diaspora, and so I dance while also feeling the words nemukati chaimo.
OTHER FAVOURITES
Matida
I just can’t not love this song. It is tied to so many of my teenage memories. I remember once Bryan, my cousin who shall remain unnamed and I were just laughing & chilling in Bryan’s car and he began playing this song for her, he in fact wrote this song for her!
Pole Pole
Cause sometimes you just gotta take it Pole Pole!
Ndopenga
I don’t even know how to explain it or what to say exactly. I just love this song, y’all. Check it out, it’s dope!
Heavy Machine
Just can’t escape this one! It’s such a classic and always a jam! It also has a *fire* video!
